Side mirrors are an important safety feature for increased rear and blind-spot visibility in large vehicles. However, these mirrors’ most significant limitation is the limited field of view. As the size of the side mirrors increases to provide an enhanced view, a new problem arises; fuel inefficiency.
 
Büyütech Side Mirror Camera System (SMCS) is suitable for use in buses and heavy- duty work machines and covers Class II and Class IV requirements (ECE R46/04). Our SMCS offers better visibility, eliminating the blind spot, offering an expanded field of view and enhanced night vision.
 
The SMCS is located inside the cabin, improving aerodynamic and aeroacoustics, and reducing fuel consumption by up to 2%, a significant amount to meet the upcoming standards on reducing fuel consumption and greenhouse-gas emissions.

Our rear view and surround view cameras, increase the field of view for the driver. Visibility of the car’s complete surroundings enables precise, safer, and less stressful parking.

Rear view cameras are required on all the new vehicles in the USA since May 2018 and will be mandatory for new vehicles in the EU as of September 2024.

Being the first camera integrated into cars, rear view cameras have been around since 1991. Although it could be seen as a luxury over three decades ago, rear view cameras are considered a necessity today. In line with the evolution of the car design and additions such as a headrest, rear visibility has decreased, increasing the need for better tools for visibility. Our system is available as an off-the-shelf product, and we are ready to meet the needs of our customers with our agile product customization process.
